Just started Steve Hely’s How I Became A Famous Novelist and it’s hilarious, especially for writers. If you don’t know him, Hely’s worked on Late Night with David Letterman as well as Last Call With Carson Daly.

And the novel? Can’t write when I’m too tired and I haven’t caught up yet. I get cranky when I can’t get into it, but right now I have to back off. I’ve learned things tend to go off into a ditch when I get tired. Looking forward to getting back to it this weekend.
